Unlimited FDIC insurance is provided on all non-interest-bearing and some low-interest Starion Financial checking accounts.

Starion Financial is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under this program, non-interest bearing transaction accounts and some NOW* accounts earning .50% or less are fully guaranteed through June 30th, 2010 by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. From July 1st, 2010 through December 31st, 2010 non-interest bearing transaction accounts and some NOW** accounts earning .25% or less are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

* Products covered by standard $250,000 and NOT covered with unlimited FDIC insurance through 6/30/2010 are: Executive Checking, Private Client Checking, Investment Checking, Special Business Interest Checking, Special Public Fund Interest Checking and Club Checking.

** Products covered by standard $250,000 FDIC insurance and NOT covered with unlimited FDIC insurance from 7/1/2010 to 12/31/2010 are: Executive Checking, Private Client Checking, Investment Checking, Interest Checking (Personal, Business and Public Funds), Top Rewards Checking, Top 50 Checking, E-Smart Checking and Club Checking.
