  • Information about your transactions and account experience with us.  This may include your account balance, account activity and usage of products and services.
  • Information about your transactions with other parties, such as deposit and employment confirmations concerning your mortgage application.
  • Information from a consumer reporting agency, which may include information about your account or credit worthiness.

 


Information we share


We share only the customer information necessary to process transactions and maintain customer accounts.We do not disclose any information about our customers or former customers to nonaffiliated third parties unless:


1) you authorize or request it; 2) the information is provided to a credit bureau or similar reporting agency; 3) the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you; or 4) the disclosure is permitted or required by law.


Protecting your information 


We take steps to protect the information we collect and maintain.  Access to information is granted to only those employees who need to know such information to provide products and services to you.  Information is protected by physical, electronic and procedural measures that comply with federal standards.


Starion Financial employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and retaining our customers' trust.


Keeping customer privacy with third party business relationships 


When we conduct business with outside parties to perform services or product on our behalf, these vendors and suppliers are subject to the same confidentiality restrictions and standards that prohibit using this information beyond the performance of these specific services and products.

Visitors to Starion Financial Web Site 


Visitors to Starion Financial web site remain anonymous. Starion does not collect identifying information on visitors to our site.


Visitors may choose to provide us with personal information via email. This information, if provided, is only used internally as appropriate to handle the sender's request. it is not disseminated or sold to other organizations.


We may use standard software to collect non-identifying information about our visitors such as:


  • Date and time our site was accessed
  • IP address (a numeric address given to servers connected to the internet)
  • Web browser used
  • City, state and country

 


The bank uses this information to create summary statistics and to determine the level of interest in information on our site.


Some areas of our web site may use a 'cookie' temporarily stored in the visitor's computer memory (RAM) to allow the web server to log the pages you use within the site and to know if you have visited the site before.
