Auto & Vehicle Insurance

Our agents provide policies to cover all types of vehicles, from cars to farm equipment to recreational vehicles, even boats and motorcycles. We are committed to providing great coverage at a reasonable price.

Working with multiple companies, we work with you to build coverage options that meet your needs. We’ll help you get appropriate coverage and make sure you have a complete understanding of your policy.

Comprehensive and Collision

Comprehensive refers to coverage for incidents other than collisions, such as fire, theft or vandalism, while collision coverage pays for damage to a vehicle in an accident. These two aspects are often, though not always, combined in one policy. There is usually a deductible, where you have to pay a certain amount before coverage kicks in. One thing to remember is that higher deductibles can mean lower premiums.

Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage (UM/UIM)

UM/UIM, provides coverage if an at-fault party either doesn’t have any or enough liability insurance. This coverage is very important, but is often overlooked. It can also provide coverage if you’re involved in an accident with a hit-and-run driver.

Liability coverage covers bodily injury or property damage when the insured driver is found to be responsible for an accident. The amount of coverage provided varies depending on the policy.

Personal Injury Protection (PIP)

Sometimes referred to as no-fault coverage, PIP covers medical and funeral expenses of the insured, others in its vehicle and pedestrians struck by the vehicle. In some cases, it covers lost wages and other damages. North Dakota and Minnesota mandate this coverage.

Personal property

Personal items damaged when a vehicle is in an accident are not covered under the auto policy. Property not attached to the vehicle should be claimed under a homeowners’ or renters’ policy. Besides these coverage options, you can add additional coverage for towing, loan payoffs, rental car use and many others.

Choosing your coverage

With so many options to choose from, know that you don't have to do it alone. Our Starion Insurance agents work with you to determine what and how much protection you’ll need. After discussing your vehicles, their value, deductible amounts and how your premium payments will fit in your household budget, we will help you choose the right coverage for you.
