Starion Financial hires Jeremy Johnson as vice president and marketing and communications manager

Starion Financial has hired Jeremy Johnson as a vice president and marketing and communications manager.

Johnson will lead bank-wide marketing and promotion to support sales of personal and business banking, mortgage, insurance and investment services at the organization’s locations in North Dakota and Middleton, Wis. His responsibilities will include oversight of advertising, public relations, internal communications, event planning and product development.

Johnson brings more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience to Starion Financial. He previously was director of admissions and marketing at Minnesota State University Moorhead. In that position, he led the university’s admissions activities and oversaw its marketing, communications and branding efforts.

Johnson has a Master of Business Administration from North Dakota State University in Fargo as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

He’s an active member of Prairie Heights Community Church, a licensed realtor with Prudential Premier Real Estate in Fargo, and a member of the Fargo-Moorhead Area Association of Realtors.

A native of Lake Park, Minn., Johnson lives in Moorhead, Minn., with his wife, Angie, and two sons.
