Starion Financial’s founder receives Greater North Dakotan Award
Frank Larson, founder of Starion Financial, received the Greater North Dakotan Award on April 15 at the Governor’s Business Forum at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. The award is the Greater North Dakota Chamber of Commerce’s highest honor and was presented to Larson in acknowledgement of the business and philanthropic impact he has had on the state of North Dakota.
“Throughout his life and career, Frank has served as a strong example of dedication to the betterment of North Dakota and its business community,” said Andy Peterson, president/CEO of the Greater North Dakota Chamber. “He has truly made, and continues to make, a powerful impact on our communities, businesses and state.”
“My father is a true community builder, and at the end of the day his biggest concern is helping people to be successful,” said Craig Larson, president/CEO of Starion Financial. “That’s how he really started his banking career: with that hope to help the community and to help customers, and that commitment has not wavered in 45 years.”
